Fit for a princess! Style your tulle skirt like Princess Catherine

When the Princess of Wales stepped out in a Dior nude tulle skirt to meet Emmanuel Macron last week she showcased perfectly how well these beautiful skirts work on formal occasions.
But I want to show you more ways to wear them too.

Hers was from Dior and probably cost thousands, but you don't need to spend that much.  I have a gorgeous range of beautiful colours in these skirts for way less!

Read on to see my take on her style, and discover my other ways to wear these gorgeous skirts...

Look 1: Dressed-up

It might not be Dior but it's still a beautiful formal occasion look.

I channelled the Princess' style by teaming the caramel tulle skirt with a silky blouse, adding heels and finishing with simple but eyecatching jewellery.

Look 2: Relaxed Effort

For a more relaxed, but still impactful look, I stuck to neutral tones with the latte tulle skirt and a black top.

Swapping the blouse for a simple black knit (from M&S), toned down the jewellery and went for the ultimate in comfy shoe with the leather ballet pumps from John Lewis.

Look 3: Fun everyday style

Not being royal, I get to have a lot more fun with my clothes so I indulged in a bit of dopamine dressing with the denim blue tulle skirt and a classic white tee from Uniqlo.

Finished with comfy ballet pumps for happy feet!

What do you think?  Are you a royal style watcher or do they leave you cold?  I think I am in the middle - do love the pomp and circumstance, but I prefer my much more relaxed style (and life!).

Size wise these skirts are quite versatile with their elasticated waist, I wear a small and am a size 10. But could easily wear a medium too.  I am 5'6 and they are a lovely ballerina length on me.

Hope you like them!
Love Cathy x
